• Grounded puts a barrier in front of the apps that pull you in. When you reach for Instagram, TikTok, or whatever steals your hours, Grounded stops you with a shield — and the only way through is to beat a quick challenge first. That tiny pause is usually all it takes to put the phone back down.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick the apps you want to block
• Block them all the time, or only during set hours each day
• Open a blocked app and Grounded shows a shield
• Beat a challenge to earn a short window of access
• When time's up, the apps re-block automatically

Accessibility Service disclosure

Grounded uses Android's AccessibilityService API to provide its core app-blocking feature. The service is used solely to detect when you open an app that you have chosen to block, so that Grounded can show a blocking screen over it. Grounded does not read, collect, or store any screen content, personal data, or information from other apps through this service — it only receives app-switch (window change) events. The service is optional and only activated after you explicitly enable it and grant permission in Android Settings.
