The Athar app is a comprehensive Quranic and faith-based application that combines reading the Holy Quran, its interpretation, recitations, prayer times, the call to prayer (Adhan), Qibla direction, supplications (Adhkar), and an Islamic library, all within a clear and user-friendly Arabic experience.
The app provides an organized Quran with an index of Surahs, Juz' (parts), and pages, the ability to save your last reading position, add bookmarks and notes, search within the Quran, and easily access verse interpretations.
The app also includes a collection of recitations by various reciters, with the ability to listen to Surahs and verses, in addition to prayer times, Adhan alerts, and Qibla direction determination based on the user's location.
The Athar app features a "Wardi" system for creating a daily recitation portion and tracking progress, and a "Khatmati" system for creating a Khatma plan and monitoring progress until completion, with data saved locally on the user's device.
