Welcome to Sibstar.

The debit card and app which is helping families living with dementia to safely manage their everyday spending. 

Developed in partnership with the Alzheimer's Society and Mastercard.
 
Whether it's popping to the shop to buy the milk, paying for an exercise class or buying a round of drinks in the pub, what we spend our money on is a big part of who we are.  For people living with dementia, remaining financially independent so that you can keep doing what you've always done is really important. This is why we developed Sibstar. 

Download the Sibstar app, sign up and we'll put your Sibstar card in the post.  When it arrives, load the card and, this is the really good bit, you can decide how and where your Sibstar card can be used.  This is what makes Sibstar different from any other debit card.

With Sibstar you can:
-       Switch cashpoint withdrawals, high street spending (at physical points of sale), contactless, online and phone on or off at any time.
-       Set how much you’d like to spend each month and week, helping you manage your money more carefully.
-       Set how much you’d like to withdraw from a cashpoint each day, protecting you from mistaken withdrawals.
-       Set an ‘auto top up’ so if the card runs low it is automatically topped up with your chosen amount of money, avoiding those stressful ‘card declined’ moments at the checkout.
-       Choose to receive real-time notifications on your phone showing when and where the card has been used, giving you that extra bit of reassurance and security.
-       You can also immediately ‘freeze’ the card, so your money is safe if your card gets mislaid. 

All this functionality can be changed instantly, at any time, so Sibstar can adapt to meet your changing needs.
