About this app

Taxi.de is an app that you can use to book a ride at the touch of a button. You can see the approaching vehicle and the ratings of the driver. You can pay in cash or – depending on the city – by credit card.

Ordering a vehicle is very easy. How it works:

- Open the app and indicate where you want to go.
- The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up.
- You can follow your driver's route to you live on the map and see all the information about the vehicle.
- Payment can be made in cash or by credit card.
You can rate your driver after the ride and leave feedback to help him and us to make the service even better. We will also email you a receipt.

The Taxi.de app works with both taxi companies and single car drivers. Thanks to the network of software used in the headquarters, it is technically possible to provide you with a vehicle more quickly and to ensure coverage in less densely populated areas.

Ratings and reviews

Impossible to order a taxi during the night and early mornings in Germany (Bremen). Orders are being not accepted or cancelled. Imagine getting a very early flight and you can't simply rely on this app. Classic thing for Germany - an app, internet, electronic signature, 21st century? Forget about it! You got to old-fashionly call (landline) a taxi company to get somewhere. Exactly like one hundred years ago.

Terrible app. Crashes a lot (when trying to confirm phone number, interface elements overlapping, yellow bar at bottom but nothing happens when tapping it?!). Tried to get a taxi from a location and was told it couldn't take the address because there is no Hausnummer. Idk just pick me up at my GPS coordinates, I don't know if there's a Hausnummer, you have my friggin location?! Gave up after probably 6 attempts and called a taxi on the phone which arrived quickly and unproblematically.

The app has a lot of bugs, making a terrible experience (It change the address, the GPS tracking fails, the message system sometimes crashes). Also I don't understand why it asks for credit card information when at the end you need to pay on site, sometimes in cash (when I specified card payment) because the driver's card terminal is damaged/offline.
