About this app

Redpen is an AI tutor app for English speaking practice. Say a sentence or type it, confirm your transcript, and get a red-pen review with specific grammar corrections and rule explanations. AI can make mistakes.

SEE WHAT CHANGED
Compare what you said with the corrected sentence. Red marks show the words to change, and explanations name the grammar rule.

PRACTICE THE CORRECTION
Say or type the corrected sentence in a drill. The drill compares transcript words; it does not grade pronunciation.

KEEP A MISTAKE NOTEBOOK
Revisit recurring grammar rules and practice them again. Rule explanations are available in Vietnamese and Spanish. Other native-language selections use English explanations. The app interface is in English.

YOUR TRANSCRIPT, YOUR CHOICE
On supported Android 13 or newer devices, recognition requires an installed English offline model. If on-device recognition is unavailable, type your sentence. Redpen never falls back to a network recognizer. Check your transcript before sending it to the AI coach through our backend. Provider disclosure and consent appear before use. Audio is not uploaded or stored.

SUBSCRIPTION
A subscription is required for tutoring. Redpen Weekly is $4.99 per week in the United States, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Google Play shows your local price and trial eligibility before purchase. Prices vary by region.

Google Play charges your selected payment method after any eligible trial ends. The subscription renews weekly until cancelled. Cancel in Google Play before the trial ends to avoid the first charge, or before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Manage your plan in Google Play or through Settings in Redpen. Deleting Redpen or your Redpen account does not cancel your subscription.

AI can make mistakes. Redpen is an educational AI tutor, not a human teacher. Drills compare words and do not grade pronunciation. The interface is in English, with Vietnamese and Spanish rule explanations.

Delete your account and Redpen data in Settings. Screenshots show example lesson content, not a live purchase or a promise of an AI result.
