Sidetake

About this app

Sidetake is a creative workflow tracker for people building things on the side — designers, writers, founders, and makers who want to stay in motion without losing the thread.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Track creative work in progress with a clean, focused dashboard
• Capture ideas as "Gems" before they slip away
• Get insights and prompts from AI mentors trained on creative practice
• Run focused work sessions with built-in structure
• See your momentum at a glance with stats and streaks

WHY SIDETAKE
Most productivity apps are built for office work. Sidetake is built for the messy, non-linear way creative ideas actually move — across notebooks, walks, sleep, and side moments. It keeps everything in one calm, dark-themed space designed to feel like a creative studio, not a spreadsheet.

DESIGNED FOR FOCUS
• Distraction-free dark interface
• No notifications by default
• No social feed, no comparison loops
• Your work stays yours

PERFECT FOR
• Writers working on books or essays between client work
• Designers running side projects
• Founders developing ideas before launch
• Anyone with a creative practice they want to protect

Sidetake is in active development. Closed testing helps us shape it with real creative people. Thank you for being part of it.
