About this game

Wardlanes is a classic tower defense built for real strategic depth. Enemies march along a set path toward your base, and it's on you to stop them — placing towers along the route, upgrading them as gold comes in, and holding out against wave after wave that grows tougher every round.

Every level is a puzzle of placement and timing. Choose from distinct tower types — fast short-range shooters, heavy hard-hitters, splash towers that hit groups, and support towers that slow or weaken — and position them where they'll do the most damage, because the same towers win or lose depending on where they sit. Killing enemies earns gold, gold buys and upgrades towers mid-battle, and each tower has an upgrade path that meaningfully changes how it plays. Enemies come in varied types too — fast and fragile, slow and armored, groups that punish weak spots — so a wall that held last wave might crumble on the next, forcing you to adapt on the fly.

A run of handcrafted levels climbs steadily in difficulty across different map layouts, with your progress saved as you go. Between the placement strategy, the upgrade decisions, and the escalating waves, every level asks you to think, react, and hold the line. It's a genuine, replayable strategy game that runs entirely offline.
