SIGOS (Comprehensive System for the Management of Sanitary Operations)

The website allows users to store documents related to legal requirements for food safety, prevention and control of Legionnaires' disease, analytical measurements of radon gas concentrations, analysis of food, water, surfaces, and handlers, pest control, and links to training websites.

It also has a system through which users can register tasks related to sanitary operations in the areas of food safety and environmental health.

As website administrators, we constantly monitor the data provided by users to assess needs and communicate any necessary corrections.

SIGOS clients, through the food safety service we provide, would be complying with the following regulations:

Regulation (EC) 852/2004 Key food hygiene regulation that requires:
- Implementation of a HACCP system.

- Have prerequisite programs in place (cleaning, pest control, water, traceability, maintenance, training, etc.).

- Legal basis for self-monitoring in food safety.

Regulation (EC) 178/2002
- General principles of food safety.

- Traceability and responsibility of the food business operator.
Royal Decree 1086/2020 Makes the application of the hygiene package more flexible and adaptable in Spain.

Royal Decree 1021/2022 Hygiene and sanitation requirements in retail trade.

Food handlers (Training and hygiene)
1. Royal Decree 202/2000 Requires that:
- a) Food handlers receive training in food hygiene.

- b) The company is responsible for ensuring this training.

2. Regulation (EC) 852/2004 Reinforces the obligation of continuing training.

Pest Control Services (Disinfection, Insect Control, Rodent Control)
1. Royal Decree 830/2010 regulates the training of personnel applying biocides.

2. Regulation (EU) 528/2012 governs the marketing and use of biocides.

3. It is a mandatory part of the HACCP prerequisites.
