"Sila Tehilim" is an app from silatehilim.com for reading Tehilim: in Hebrew, Russian translation, and transliteration. All the essentials are already within the app and can be accessed offline.
TEHILIM FOR TODAY
The app automatically opens the chapters assigned for the day. The Hebrew date and chapters of the day are calculated on the device itself, so the reading is available even without a network connection.
ALL 150 CHAPTERS
Each chapter is in Hebrew with vowel marks, Russian translation, and Russian transliteration. Panels can be enabled individually, and the font size is adjustable. Hebrew always remains Hebrew.
The app has five text options: Hebrew, Russian translation, Russian transliteration, English translation (JPS 1917), and English transliteration. The Russian interface displays the first three, while the English interface displays Hebrew and two English texts.
KIVREI TZADIKI
An archive of 238 burial sites; 236 of them have coordinates and are marked on the map. The list and map markers are stored on the device and can be opened without a network connection—only the map background is retrieved from the internet.
"NEAR ME"
Sorting kivrei tzadikim by distance is calculated directly on the device. Your coordinates are not sent to our server or anywhere else.
JEWISH CALENDAR AND YORZEITS
Yorzeit calendar for tzadikim. Mark those you commemorate with a star, and the app will remind you the day before and on the day itself. The second day of Yom Tov outside of Israel, yahrzeit in Adar in a leap year, yahrzeit on the 30th of a short month: the app asks how to calculate it for you and honors your choice.
SITE MATERIALS
Articles, books, and videos. Open articles remain on your device and can be read offline.
NO REGISTRATION
No account required—no name, email, or phone number. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. Notifications are only sent if you enable them; the app functions fully without them.
The "Sila Tehilim" website is a non-profit project for the dissemination of the Torah. The app is free.
