About this app

Knob Snap is an offline-first tone card for gigging guitarists who run one named song or patch at a time. Instead of scrolling notes or squinting at phone photos, you capture every pedal and amp setting as a clear o’clock dial position—and open the whole rig for that song in one tap. COLD START ON THE KNOB-CLOCK Open any song and land on a stage-dark, fullscreen board of large circular dials. Each control on the active pedal shows hour marks and a draggable needle. Settings are stored as clock positions (7:00–5:00 style), so what you see on stage matches what you set at home—no vague percentages, no guesswork. SIGNAL-CHAIN ORDER, NOT A FLAT LIST Pedals sit in real signal order. Scroll or tap through the chain; on/bypass and footswitch modes sit beside the dials. Amp channel, EQ bullets, reverb, and presence cues ride on the same tone card so the full song rig is readable at a glance. SONG & PATCH LIBRARY Build a library of song patches with rename, favorite, and last-played stamps. Recall setlist tones instantly. Clone a patch or duplicate a chain for A/B variations while locking the original. SIDE-BY-SIDE COMPARE Open two patches in dual knob-clock columns. Mismatched dials, switches, and amp notes highlight so you can hear—and see—exactly what changed between tones. YOUR PEDAL INVENTORY, ONCE Define each stomp once: name, knob labels, switch modes, and default noon positions. Reuse that inventory across every song. A seed demo board (drive, modulation, delay, reverb) plus sample song patches makes the knob-clock usable on first launch. SETLIST NIGHT SNAPSHOT Pull a compact read-only strip of all o’clock positions and switch states for the selected song—perfect for a quick pre-gig check. BUILT FOR THE STAGE Everything persists offline: inventory, chains, o’clock values, and compare pairs. Last active patch and dial units are remembered so you pick up where you left off—no account, no cloud required for core use. Snap real settings. Recall real tones. Leave the photo gallery in the bag.
