How It Works

Create custom focus sessions with personalized labels and durations. Once you start a session, Silent Proof monitors your device's screen lock state and app usage in real-time. Lock your screen within 10 seconds to begin, and keep it locked to maintain a clean session. The app detects interruptions such as screen unlocks, app switches, and service interruptions, and records them with precise timestamps in a cryptographically secure proof report (SHA-256 hashing, device binding, PNG export free, PDF certificates Pro).

Optional App Blocker - Uses Android's Accessibility Service

Silent Proof includes an optional "App Blocker" feature (Settings > App Blocker) that shows a full-screen "stay focused" reminder if you open an app you've chosen to block during an active session. To detect which app is in the foreground, this feature uses Android's AccessibilityService API, reading only window-state-change events for the foreground app's package name. It does NOT read screen content, text fields, or keystrokes, and is never used for ads, analytics, or anything beyond focus tracking. The service is inactive unless you turn on App Blocker and choose apps to restrict, and it only acts during an active session. Before you can enable it, the app shows a clear in-app disclosure of exactly what it does and does not do. This feature is optional. Every core focus-tracking and proof feature works without it.
