I use this with all of my TVs using Nexus players. I tried Fire sticks but they were laggy. Not a silicon dust problem but a hardware problem. I run the server on a WD my cloud server. Works very well. So happy to not have to rent boxes. Are there issues? Sure, but I am sure silicon dust will take care of the audio sync issues that arise at times and the guide. I really with the guide was more like live channels. Great work!
Ace device can now watch TV on my Phone Windows tablet and Nvidia shield with live TV integration
This is a great app for watching live TV locally. It is not intended for remote play, use Plex or Emby for that. It plays the native stream from the broadcast, so of course it doesn't use codecs like Netflix.
Does not have Chromecast support, so can't watch on TV. Otherwise, plays fine on phone.
Good app in local network but it does not work over VPN remotely. Also not sure if it uses an efficient streaming codec like one used by netflix.
The app works well. Not a fan of the guide layout but it is what it is. The DVR works well ($35 a year). The support so far has been good. Overall a worthwhile investment in Hardware and a DVR subscription is significantly less expensive than a Hulu subscription.
- Fix AC3 support on some devices
- Improve default audio track selection.
- Add audio track selection to Live Channels interface
- Bug fixes.
