At the core of Azure Glide is Plane Memory, an engaging card matching game that challenges users to improve their memory skills through ten progressively difficult levels. Players start by matching pairs of plane cards featuring different aircraft types, including passenger planes, cargo planes, fighter jets, and propeller aircraft. As levels advance, challenges increase with more cards to match, shorter time limits, and additional plane types to identify. Each completed level unlocks the next stage and updates player statistics, fostering a sense of achievement and encouraging continued engagement.
Beyond the memory game, Azure Glide offers a comprehensive Encyclopedia section, providing educational resources for aviation enthusiasts. The encyclopedia contains detailed articles covering the history of flight, the mechanics of jet engines, the principles of aerodynamics, and the future of aviation, including electric aircraft, supersonic travel, and space tourism. The app also features an interactive Flight Distance Calculator, allowing users to enter speed in kilometers per hour and time in hours to calculate flight distances, combining practical learning with real-world application.
The Achievements system tracks player progress and rewards milestones throughout their journey. Users can view total games played, highest levels reached, and total pairs matched. Achievements such as Rookie Pilot, Experienced Pilot, Ace, Memory Master, and Speed Demon provide clear goals for players, with visually distinct icons and golden highlights for unlocked accomplishments. This system motivates users to improve their memory, complete all levels, and explore the full scope of the app’s features.
Azure Glide is built with modern mobile technologies to ensure smooth performance and reliable data persistence. Developed using Flutter and Dart with the Provider pattern for efficient state management, the app keeps the user interface responsive and up-to-date. All user progress, including onboarding completion, game statistics, level unlocks, and achievements, is stored locally using Hive, a fast NoSQL database that allows offline play without losing data. A persistent bottom navigation bar with four main sections—Home, Game, Encyclopedia, and Achievements—enables seamless navigation between features while maintaining progress.
