A good RPG with lovely visuals. There is room for improvement, especially with the gear sets not being very clear. I would recommend that there be some indication of which sets are suitable for each of the character classes. Such as a shield icon for tank class, cross swords for dps, and a cross for support. As it is right now, I'm just guessing and hoping for the best. Sort this, and I'll raise it to a 5 star.

Plan to remove the low rating. Good game. Just wanted devs to see that after the last event that added points to pirate attacks, pirates don't spawn. . Edit for response. I'm aware that they're invisible and spawn in the edges. I've been to 3 different zones and spend about 10 minutes every time I open the game looking for them. They aren't spawning. I've done the mission enough to know it isn't user error.

Initially, it's fun enough and you make quick progress. Later, you start to hit a difficulty spike and actually have a decent challenge. Eventually, you'll hit a wall and keep getting the message: "Defeat!" And then it suggests recruiting more heroes or looking at the strategy guide. But you can only recruit so much and strategy only gets you so far. Not to mention you need rarer and rarer recruits to boost the strength of your units so the dead end wall is inevitable.
