Why is it satisfying? Imagine the following situations...

You are playing, but are getting a phone call...
no real time decisions, you can safely interrupt the game at any point.

You have forgotten the time while you're playing...
no need to exit the game, a real world clock can be switched on optionally.

You died in the game...
no permadeath, this is no rogue-clone. You can load/save at any time, or return to safety without losing all your money or equipped items.

you can come back to your old friends and show them your uber gear.

Your smartphone is not the newest model...
the game runs well on older devices, happy playing!

You want to buy in game things with real-life money, but where...
nowhere. This game is OFFLINE and there is NO Pay-To-Win mechanism. Sorry.

A flawed, but quite enjoyable dungeon crawler with a silly plot. Game balance could use a lot of work, especially early progression, which is heavily tied to having a decent weapon or not. Enemies also become hp sponges lategame, and there's quite a bit of backtracking due to sparse quick travel options. And yet, the dialogue is funny, the progressing generally feels great, and there's quite a bit to explore and discover. A valiant effort, had a lot of fun with it.

Controls are very imprecise. Lost many runs because of this. Progression is extremely slow for this style. Audio is monotonous and gets downright annoying. Font makes reading difficult at times. Execution is otherwise decent but nothing special. If the character building is done purely through leveling (no race/class, no skill trees) it kinda defeats the roguelike genre. Also, if I've made it past level 10/20 how can it tell me I've only completed 35% of the dungeon?

Thank you very much for your review and your opinion. A level counts as complete when you have defeated all enemies, removed all destroyables (and traps once you have the skill). The remaining objects are shown on the counter at the upper right. kind regards Mario

Love the game! I have to say, for $1 it's been worth it. It was rough for a bit at the start; I didn't know the order of dungeons and wished there'd been instructions. I'm still not sure how the magic works. Buying 5/10 levels instead of 1 would be nice, always going back to the start to buy them is tiring. And are there more vendors, or just the starter throne room ones? There's a lack of direction so you flounder at first, but I assume it's intentional so you learn through discovery. So fun!
