The Agroclimatic Monitoring and Alerts System (SIMAGRO-RS) aims to monitor agroclimate in Rio Grande do Sul, developing products and information to enable planning and support short-, medium-, and long-term measures in the agricultural sector.
SIMAGRO has dozens of automatic weather stations installed to expand the state's existing sensor network. These stations are used for climate monitoring and the correct use of phytosanitary products. Simagro-RS also features weather and climate models, generating agrometeorological products for all 497 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul.
