About this app

Sima app is designed as a user-friendly app where users can extract data from their receipts as a form of report that can be used to easily file their tax returns. The Sima app will take a photo or select from the photo library of the user to select expense receipts. The expense receipt is scanned by the app, and the details, which are limited to the purchase items, vendor, date, amount, sales tax, and total amount, are extracted. The app also gives the user the ability to edit or rename any item or information not captured.

After the captured information, the user has the ability to categorize the expense and go through this process every time there is a need to enter an expense receipt.

At year-end, the user can extract the information (report) in CSV format and extract the saved receipt from the app to the user’s email.
Finally, the user has the ability to see their expenses captured in an analytic format.
