About this app

Never miss a Hebrew date again.

SimchaCal tracks the dates that matter to your family — birthdays, wedding
anniversaries, yahrzeits and bar/bat mitzvahs — on the Hebrew calendar, and
reminds you before each one comes round.

WHAT IT DOES

• Enter a date once. Give a civil date and SimchaCal works out the Hebrew
date for you, sunset and all, then follows it year after year.

• Get reminded in good time. Choose one day, three days or a week ahead,
and add a note to yourself that appears in the reminder.

• Organise by occasion. Group people into Occasions — Birthdays,
Anniversaries, Yahrzeits, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, or your own.

• See what's coming. The Upcoming tab shows the next 30 days, including
Yom Tovim and Jewish holidays if you want them.

• Print a real wall calendar. Generate a printable Hebrew-and-civil
calendar with your family's events, Yom Tovim, and candle-lighting and
havdalah times for your city. Several fonts, colours and borders.

• Export anywhere. Send your dates to Outlook or Google Calendar as an ICS
file, or export to CSV. Import a whole family at once from a CSV file.

• Back up and move. Export a backup file and restore it on another phone,
or on the web version.

BUILT FOR EVERYDAY USE

Your data lives on your device and the app works offline — no account, no
sign-up, nothing to remember. Available in English, Hebrew, French and
Spanish.

SimchaCal is free to use for a small family. Upgrade to Pro once for
unlimited events and calendar exports — no subscription.

Ashkenazi and Sephardi customs are both supported, along with the
Adar I / Adar II choice in a leap year, and Israel or Diaspora yom tov
observance.
