About this app

Timing a track session, a swim set or a cross-country loop gets hard the moment several people are running at once. This lap timer gives each runner, swimmer or rider a tile you tap as they pass, and keeps every lap, split and total in order. Afterwards you can compare paces, save personal records and export the session.

▶ ONE BOARD, UP TO 20 ATHLETES
• Big tiles with the lap count, the running lap and the last lap time.
• Start everyone together, or start each athlete separately for staggered starts and heats.
• Set a goal of laps and each athlete finishes automatically at that lap.
• Optional spoken lap times ("Anna, lap 7, 1 minute 2.4") and a vibration on every tap.
• The screen stays on while a session is running, and nothing pops up over the board while you are timing.

▶ MISTAKES ARE FIXABLE
• Double tap? A lap shorter than your warning time is kept but marked "Too short?" so you can check it.
• Tapped Anna when Ben crossed? Move the tap to the right athlete.
• Missed a lap? Split the long lap in two, or type the correct time.
• Every change can be undone one by one, and later laps stay as they are.
• Estimated or typed times are labelled as such and are never used for best laps or records.

▶ RESULTS THAT MAKE SENSE
• Lap-by-lap table with cumulative time and the difference to your target lap time.
• Pace per km or per mile when you set the lap distance.
• Best lap, average, consistency and fade (how much the last laps slowed down) for every athlete.
• Ranking across all athletes.

▶ HISTORY AND PERSONAL RECORDS
• Save up to 300 sessions with a name.
• Personal records follow the person, not the name: two athletes called Alex never mix, and renaming keeps the records.
• Best total for the same number of laps and lap distance, plus each athlete's best lap overall.
• Export any session as CSV or share a short summary.

▶ SAFE IF THE APP IS CLOSED
• Every tap is saved as it happens. If the app is closed during a session, it opens right where it was.
• Elapsed time is measured from the phone's own running clock, so changing the time or date does not move it. If the phone restarts, the affected laps are marked "Unverified" instead of guessing.

GOOD TO KNOW
• This is hand timing: the result is as exact as the moment you tap. It is not an official race timing system and it does not detect laps by GPS.
• Sessions and records are stored on your device. No account needed.
