Simple Launcher is a minimal home screen launcher for Android that gets out of
your way. It keeps your own wallpaper, adds a clear clock and date, and puts
your favourite apps in a dock at the bottom. Everything else is one swipe away.

A cleaner home screen
Most home screens fill up with suggestions, badges and folders before you can
open anything. Simple Launcher shows only what you choose: your wallpaper, the
time, up to five dock apps and the widgets you add. Nothing else competes for
your attention.

Fast app search
Swipe up from anywhere to open the app drawer. Start typing to filter your apps
instantly, or tap the microphone to search by voice. The list is sorted
alphabetically and updates automatically when you install or remove apps.

Quick settings shortcuts
Swipe left inside the app drawer for a shortcuts panel with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
Flashlight, Airplane mode, Mobile data, Location, Auto-rotate and Sound. Each
tile shows its current state so you can see at a glance what is on.

Widgets that fit
Long-press the home screen to add any widget installed on your phone. Widgets
sit in a scrollable area under the clock, so you can keep a calendar, weather
or notes without crowding the layout. Remove a widget any time from its
long-press menu.

Made for one-handed use
Choose small, medium or large icons to match your screen and your eyesight.
The search bar and dock stay at the bottom where your thumb already is. A short
first-run guide shows the two gestures you need and then stays out of the way.

Light and quick
The launcher is small, starts fast and uses hardware acceleration so scrolling
and animations stay smooth on budget phones as well as flagships. It does not
run background services or drain the battery when you are not using it.

Your apps, your control
Long-press any app icon for App info or Uninstall. The launcher reads your
installed apps only on your device and never uploads that list.

How to set it up
1. Open Simple Launcher and follow the short intro.
2. Tap "Set as Home app" and choose Simple Launcher when Android asks.
3. Swipe up for your apps, swipe left for shortcuts, long-press for widgets.

You can switch back to your previous home screen at any time from Android
Settings > Apps > Default apps > Home app.

Simple Launcher is supported by advertising. A privacy policy is available
inside the app and on this page, and users in the EEA and UK can manage their
ad privacy choices at any time from the home-screen menu.

Works on Android 7.0 and newer. Widgets, quick-settings panels and voice search
depend on features provided by your device and Android version.
