About this app

Simple Level turns your Android phone or tablet into a precise spirit level for any surface. A 2D bullseye shows the combined tilt at a glance, and separate horizontal and vertical vials break the reading into pitch and roll in degrees so you know exactly how far off you are and in which direction.

What you can do:

- Watch the bullseye simple move under gravity while you level a shelf, a picture frame, a tripod, or a workbench.
- Read the pitch (front-to-back tilt) on a 1D horizontal vial and the roll (left-to-right tilt) on a 1D vertical vial with one-decimal precision.
- See the simple turn to the accent colour when the surface is level in both axes so you can confirm at a glance.
- Rely on the dedicated gravity sensor on devices that ship one. On devices without a hardware gravity sensor, Simple Level falls back to a smoothed accelerometer reading so the simple stays steady on almost any Android phone or tablet.

Why choose Simple Level:

- Fully offline. The app never opens a network socket.
- Zero permissions. The manifest declares no runtime permissions, no INTERNET, no location, no storage, no camera, no microphone.
- No ads and no advertising SDK.
- No in-app purchases and no billing SDK.
- No analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting SDK.
- Small install size and quick startup on modest hardware.
- Clean Material Design surface with automatic day and night themes that follow your system setting.

Simple Level is designed for installers, homeowners, photographers, campers, and anyone who needs to check whether a surface is truly flat without unpacking a physical spirit level. Compatible with Android 7.0 (API 24) and newer.
