About this app

"Simple Price Comparison" is a price calculation app that instantly shows you the best deal by simply entering the price and quantity, and calculating the unit price for items like tissues and toilet paper, which often have varying quantities and are difficult to compare.

It was designed for quick, one-handed use in supermarkets and drugstores.

■ Instant Calculation

- No "Compare" button is needed. The unit price is calculated every time you enter information.

- Displays "Lowest Price" for the cheapest product.

■ Price Calculation by Category

- Tissues are compared by price per sheet.

- Toilet paper is compared by price per meter.

- Kitchen paper is compared by price per sheet.

- Other items (detergent, shampoo, plastic wrap, garbage bags, diapers, food, drinks, etc.) are compared by price per entered quantity.

- You can enter information as is, such as "1 box of 200 sheets x 5 boxes," and you don't need to calculate the total quantity yourself.

* For other types of products, such as "64 sheets x 8 packs," you can simply add the quantities together and enter the price directly.

■ Easy Input in Stores
* You can compare 2 to 4 products side-by-side.
* Number input is completed using the in-app keypad, and you can move between fields using "Previous/Next."
* The keypad can be resized to fit your hand by dragging the bar at the top.
* The "x2" and "x3" buttons for price allow you to quickly enter the price for buying 2 or 3 items together.
* There is also a calculator in the app.

■ Comparisons Outside of Stores
* You can compare bulk online sales with single items sold in stores.
* It can also be used to decide whether to buy a large or small quantity.
* You can also compare meat and drinks by entering the quantity in the same unit, such as grams or milliliters.

■ Comparison Including Discounts
* Supports discount rates such as "10% OFF" and discount amounts such as "¥100 off."

* Calculates unit price after discount, allowing for fair comparison of sale items and regular items.

■ Save Records
* Save up to 30 comparison results. Entering product name and store name makes it easy to review for future shopping trips.
* Past lowest unit prices are also displayed, allowing you to quickly see if today's price is low.
* Saved "approximately ◯ yen cheaper" comparisons accumulate as "Savings for the month," and you can track your savings for the current month. You can also create an image of "I saved approximately ◯ yen this month!" and share it with family and on social media.

* Use "Request Shopping" to ask family members via LINE or other means to buy items if they are under ◯ yen for this quantity.

* Share the cheapest prices for tissues, toilet paper, and kitchen paper all in one place. Useful for requesting shopping from family or sharing low prices with friends and family.

■ Price Memo for Items Not Yet Purchased
* Save even just one item and keep it as a price memo.

* You can compare items you've noted down from other stores by adding them to the current comparison.
* You can attach up to 5 photos of price tags per item. You can take photos at the store and input the information later at your leisure.
* You can zoom in on photos with your finger to check even small price tag text.

■ Privacy
* No login or account registration is required.
* The product name, store name, price, and price tag photos you enter are saved only on your device and are not sent externally (except when shared with an app you choose, such as "Ask someone to shop for you").
* Calculations can be used even without an internet connection.

■ Notes
* This app is free, but advertisements will be displayed on the screen.
* Calculation results are estimates based on the entered values.
* Point rewards are not included in the calculation.
