In Denmark, we only sort 53% of our household waste. This app should help us get closer to 100%.
🌱 Sustainability made easy: Sometimes it can be difficult to judge which bin you should put your waste in. Mit Affald offers a large and effective reference work to help you find out which bin the waste you are dealing with by hand, must be sorted in.
🔍 Extensive and updated database: The app is always close at hand, and you can quickly and easily use our search field which is linked to our database, which contains thousands of products and waste items. At the same time, the database is constantly updated with new products and waste items.
🆓 100% free: You don't have to pay anything to use all the features of the app. In addition, it also does not require you to create any user or enter any information to use the app.
🇩🇰 Danish sustainability: The app is designed for the Danish sorting system and can be used in the entire country's municipalities. At the same time, the app is of course also Danish-owned and produced in Denmark.
📈 Big ambitions: By using Mit Affald you not only support a greener Denmark, but also our development of future functions in the app. We strive to, among other things, to make the app even smarter in the following ways:
- A much larger database with more products and waste items.
- A barcode scanner, so you can scan the item's barcode to see where the packaging should be sorted.
- An image recognition function, so you can just take a picture of the rubbish to find out where it should be sorted.
- A version for the iOS operating system (i.e. iPhone and iPad).
📣 Your feedback is important: If you have questions, suggestions or general feedback for the app, feel free to contact us at oliverkronholm99@hotmail.dk. We value your thoughts as they can help us make My Waste even better.
