This game, despite being awesome, can be finicky on different devices. On iPad it can be laggy and on phones(such as the galaxy) the game will misinterpret different inputs from time to time leading to a failed run. Also, occasionally, on Android phones, the map won't load fast enough with the player character making you see through the floors and sometimes leading to death. (Once the map didn't load fast enough during manna madness, which should give you invincibility, yet it still killed me).

Yes, the game says it "contains ads." No, it doesn't mean those nasty video popups. It's just a couple plugs for Temple Run and Tiny Heroes and that's it. Gameplay-wise, One Epic Knight is simple and addictive. Although there's not many versions of the traps themselves, their configurations can lead to very interesting encounters. In my last run, a treasure room was immediately followed by an unexpected pit trap. The deception worked, and I found myself laughing at yet another demise.

A fun little game. Doesn't deluge you with ads or pester you to spend money in a cosmetic shop. Only real complaint is that the visual signposting on some of the obstacles could be clearer. Sliding obstacles in particular tend to come out of nowhere and require very quick reactions. The obstacles that make it look like you have to jump but then smack you into a low ceiling are also annoying. Minor points of improvement aside, it's a fun game and I recommend it.
