About this app

ExamMaker brings together all steps of exam preparation in a single application for academics and teachers.

■ Optical reading, device-free: generate and print your own forms; read answer sheets with your phone camera. Student numbers are read from the paper and automatically match with the class list.

■ Exam preparation: question bank with subject and difficulty tags, bulk upload via Excel, shuffled exam papers up to 26 booklets, ready-made templates.

■ Analysis: difficulty and discrimination index for each question, KR-20 reliability coefficient, grade distribution graphs, incorrect answer key warning, PDF and Excel reports.

■ Course management: student lists, attendance and absences, weighted grade composition and letter grades, live quizzes via QR code, surveys and word clouds.

■ Your data is yours: the workspace is backed up with end-to-end encryption; the server cannot read your content. Backup to your own Google Drive account.

The application operates under the ExamMaker license; After logging in, your data is synchronized end-to-end with encryption across your devices. ExamMaker is used by academics at universities and teachers at schools and courses.

What’s new

A new home screen for phones and tablets: a bottom bar and large tiles put attendance, optical reading and results one tap away. Creating a course now only asks for the course name; the remaining details are completed while preparing the accreditation report. A short introductory tour was added on first sign-in: where your data is kept, how to turn on sync for a second device, and why the recovery code must be saved. Light and dark mode are now chosen under My Account.
