The most natural way to learn English and German from Turkish: with Kalimo.
Kalimo is a language learning app that offers English and German courses from A1 to C2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with explanations in Turkish. Each level is filled with real lesson content; you progress in just a few minutes each day with short, gamified lessons.
🎯 IT GETS TO KNOW YOU AND FINDS YOUR LEVEL
A brief level assessment is conducted upon initial setup, and you start at the right point according to your knowledge. When you choose a new language, a separate test is given for that language; the course starts from that point based on the result.
🗣️ LEARN BY SPEAKING
In the speaking section of each lesson, you say sentences aloud. Your pronunciation is measured in real time: you see which words and sounds you mispronounce and correct them with Turkish hints. You are evaluated in English for English and in German for German.
👩🏫 KALIMO IS ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDE
The mascot teacher Kalimo narrates the lessons with his voice, guides you, and congratulates you when you get it right. All narration is in Turkish; the words and sentences of the new language are read aloud in his own voice.

Hundreds of articles suitable for your level: English and German reading shelves with articles at every level, sentence by sentence with Turkish translation support. Words you have learned are marked in green in the texts; you can find the meaning of unfamiliar words with a single touch.

Subscription means no ads; Speaking Learning and the pronunciation studio are also subscription-only. The annual plan includes the first 7 days free; no charge will be made to your card when you start the trial, the first charge will be made at the end of the 7th day. If you cancel from your Google Play account settings before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

Your approximate location — a rough area of approximately 5 km — is only used for suggesting nearby students; the exact location is not stored. If you do not grant location permission, the nearby section will be completely hidden.
