About this app

On September 27, 2008, the first milestone in the history of SINDSEMP-BA took place: the founding Assembly of a union whose main reason and interest was the public prosecutor of Bahia.
The first management exercised a provisional mandate from 2008 to 2011 and organized the base. The entity faced challenges and developed with the effort of those who were in front of it and, more importantly, with the interest and collaboration of those who, believing in the strength of their Union, joined and participated in the proposed activities and demands, thus legitimizing the existence of SINDSEMP-BA.
In 2011, the Board of Directors was re-elected, which served its second term until 2014. Among the struggles during this period, PL 19,648/2011 (which establishes our PCS) stands out, and was supported by a large number of civil servants taking part in various demonstrations at the headquarters of the Public Ministry, in Nazaré, as well as at ALBA. In addition, a new logo was created to give the union a better identity and symbology.
In September 2014, with the beginning of a new management, a lot of struggle was necessary and achievements were added, among them the substantial increase in the number of affiliates and the insertion of SINDSEMP-BA in the national scenario, through the affiliation to FENAMP ( National Federation of State Public Prosecution Service Employees), in addition to reforming the Statute, making such regulations more consistent with the work carried out by the Entity.
In March 2015, SINDSEMP-BA moved to a new headquarters, where it is located until today, in a room provided by the MPBA, located in the building of the headquarters in Nazaré. The 2014/2017 management was also marked by several struggles in defense of the interests of public servants, both at the state and national levels, in addition to the beginning of the maturation and support of the category for all proposals and projects launched. A new logo was also developed, seeking a more modern and minimalist look, which would facilitate the identification and reproduction of the brand.
The year 2017 brought the first woman to hold the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Entity, who completed her fourth term, during the 2017/2020 period. With the motto: “Unite to Evolve”, SINDSEMP-BA reached its highest representativeness index. The management was marked by many challenges and clashes with the Higher Administration, but the category had the support and strength necessary to continue firmly representing its interests. During this period, the largest General Assembly of the entity took place, with the participation of more than 300 civil servants from the capital and countryside. Management was marked by a lot of modernization: implementation of the Ombudsman; A Management System; implementation of the Virtual Assembly; Launch of the new website; Holding of the 1st parallel election for PGJ; Revitalization of the Agreements Folder, in addition to the renewal of the Legal Advice, which now has a more personalized work, together with the civil servants.
In 2020, in the midst of measures to deal with the new Coronavirus, he took over the Respect and Appreciation Management, to fulfill the mandate of 2020/2023. The new management was faced with many challenges arising from the new work relationships implemented with telework, occupational diseases exacerbated by the pandemic, budget restrictions imposed by the Mansueto Law and the economic crisis associated with the Bahia Government policy, which does not grant the replacement inflationary pressure since he took office 7 years ago. In addition, it was necessary to unite with other categories, in state and national demonstrations against PEC-32 (Administrative Reform), which provides for major attacks on public service.
Since its founding, SINDSEMP-BA has sought to promote policies that value and recognize employees of the Public Ministry of the State of Bahia.
