App Launcher Widget helps you organize your most important apps on your home screen in a space-saving and intelligent way.
Intelligent Selection: Add your most used, recently used, or recently installed apps – automatically and dynamically updated. Of course, you can also add fixed apps manually at any time.
Maximum Flexibility: Sort your apps alphabetically, by frequency of use, by installation date, or fully customize them via drag & drop. For example, you can display your 10 most recently used or recently installed apps and sort them alphabetically at the same time.
Space-saving View: While standard launchers are often limited to 5 apps per row, this widget offers full freedom. Place e.g. 40 apps (5 x 8) in the same space that normally fits only 10 apps (2 x 5).
Custom Design: Text size, icon size, colors, and icon shapes are individually adjustable. For a particularly minimalist look, the text can be hidden completely to display even more apps in a limited space.
Themed Icons: For a clean, stylish look, app icons can match your color scheme — or keep the familiar standard look.

very easy to use. been looking for an icon dock that i can place anywhere on my homescreen and this does exactly that. i see two features i would like, ability to disable icon background instead of square or squircle. and ability to independently pic a png image for each icon and not just use system default. maybe even ability to set gif icons, not just png. maybe this can go in the premium version.

Thanks for the nice feedback! A lot of standard app icons aren’t designed to look good without their background, so turning it off would look odd. For themed icons, the Pro version lets you set the background to fully transparent. I’ll keep custom icons in mind, but I’m not working on that at the moment.

in the previous release I could have icons in their original colors without also needing a "field" or badge or icon background of BLAZING white. I suppose I'll live with monochrome icons if this is necessary to provide the extra functionality you've just deployed... but I hope you can address this soon 🤞😁

Hello, in the free version, you can choose between three color schemes. "Tinted (light)" is the default and has a light background. "Tinted (dark)" has a dark background. "Custom" lets you pick every color individually. Everything that was possible in the previous version is still possible. Hope this helps, else you can email to sjapps@web.de.

please add Recently installedApp option in Widget arrangement menu Great update one more question why only 80 app limit and can you please make one separate premium pro version application thankyou for great update

Thank you :) Unfortunately there are technical OS limitations regarding widget communication, that is why I had to add the 80-app limit. Hm, what are your pain points regarding the current pro version handling? Actually I think the current handling is fine and it would require some effort. You can also email to sj-apps@web.de if you want.
