Bought a small set. The lights came on, but I couldn't connect via Bluetooth. I returned them and got a larger set. I still couldn't connect after restarting my phone twice, uninstalling and installing the app 5 times, and making sure I was not connected to anything else. Not only could I not connect with either set, but the second set had very bad connections in the plugs to connect the light. I had to press and hold the plug together to get the strip to light up art all. Total junk.

Had a hard time figuring out how to connect the app. After all the stress, all I had to do was check that all other Bluetooth devices were disconnected (this includes the car's Bluetooth feature on your radio, that was my issue). Just disconnect the other Bluetooth devices, connect the lights, and then reconnect your other devices back. Found this in a comment from another user and it saved me.

This product is just trash. The lights connect once and then never again. The music feature never worked correctly, and after less than a year of owning them the led lights no longer power on. I have power to the box unit, but no lights. Several attempts to uninstall and reconnect app remained futile. For the high price these lights were a complete disappointment. Do not buy.
