About this game

Skako is a single-player endless platform arcade game where every jump matters as you race across floating pathways and chase a higher score.

HOW TO PLAY

The environment scrolls continuously while your adventurer remains at a fixed horizontal position. Tap to jump whenever you're standing on a platform. Land safely to continue forward, use spring platforms for extra height, collect sparkling gems suspended in the air, and avoid flying guardians. Falling below the screen or colliding with a guardian after the opening safe period ends the run.

GAME LOGIC

• Floating platforms are generated continuously and recycled after leaving the screen, creating an endless course.
• Standard platforms provide stable ground for landing and allow your next jump.
• Spring platforms automatically launch you higher and reward bonus points.
• Sparkling gems appear above selected platforms and are collected when touched.
• Flying guardians move up and down along their paths. Contact with one after the safe period immediately ends the game.
• Falling below the visible play area after the protection phase also ends the run.
• Every session begins with a brief safety period that gives you time to learn the rhythm of the course.
• During this opening phase, jumping is allowed even while airborne. Once it ends, jumps can only be made after landing.

SCORING

• Earn points by collecting sparkling gems.
• Receive bonus points for landing on spring platforms.
• Increase your score continuously through distance traveled and survival time.

• Home menu with Play and How to Play.
• Lifetime statistics including best score, total runs, collected gems, and average score.
• Reset statistics option.
• Pause menu with Resume and Home options.
• Results screen displaying your score, best score, collected items, path name, and new record notification.
• Every run is randomized with different platform spacing, jump heights, guardian placement, and path names.
