Accessibility Service Usage
The Interaction Assistant uses the Android Accessibility API exclusively to help people with reduced mobility or motor difficulties navigate other applications with fewer repetitive touches.
How it works: the user configures words or phrases that they want the app to search for on the screen. When one of these terms is detected, the app automatically performs a click on the corresponding element.
The accessibility permission is used only to:
1. Read the visible content of the screen in search of the terms configured by the user.
2. Perform the click on the corresponding element.
The service is only manually activated by the user, all actions occur locally on the device, and no usage data, screen text, or personal information is collected or sent to external servers.
Automate repetitive touches with accessibility features for people with reduced mobility.
