This app is going to drive me to buy a radio. The audio stream cuts in and out, stopping for anywhere from around 1 to 30 seconds, every few minutes. I can stream HD video on the same wifi connection with no problems, so I know this is not a bandwidth issue. Additionally, on starting to stream, it pops up a full-screen, unclosable ad.

Repeatedly while taking a walk, it seems that whenever my phone tries to ping nearby Wi-Fi networks, this app will abandon my mobile data, drop out the feed, and pause. But since I'm walking it doesn't manage to connect to the Wi-Fi, and so I have to manually start the feed again. Whenever I do, it runs another ad, and then somehow the pitch of all of the sounds have gone up by half an octave or something, and then there is regular high-pitched squeaking. Please fix.

WABE is an amazing station, but I've always found the app to be a bit lacking. I've reinstalled the app several times over the years and used different devices, but I've always run into a lot of bugs while using the app. For example, if I pause the or even stop a segment without completely exiting out of the app, it will play again on it's own, in about 5-10 minutes.
