About this app

Skydive Sim Instructor is a companion app for Skydive Sim, sold separately on Meta Quest and Steam. It is not a standalone game. Skydive Sim running on a compatible VR headset is required.

Designed for skydiving instructors, drop zones, training facilities, and event operators, Skydive Sim Instructor provides remote control of supported Skydive Sim sessions from an Android device.

The app allows an instructor or operator to manage a student's simulator session without needing to access the VR headset directly. Depending on the active Skydive Sim experience, instructors can set up wing loading, select scenes and training scenarios, start jumps, assist with canopy controls, restart sessions, return the student to the main menu, and more.

Skydive Sim Instructor is designed to make supervised VR training sessions easier to manage, particularly when the person wearing the headset needs guidance or assistance.

Requirements

Skydive Sim installed and running on a compatible VR headset
Both headset and Android device on the same local Wi-Fi network
A Skydive Sim Instructor account
Optional: For the best experience, we recommend using Skydive Sim Instructor on an Android tablet.

Skydive Sim Instructor does not include the Skydive Sim VR experience itself. To experience Skydive Sim, please purchase and install Skydive Sim separately on a supported VR platform.
