ClearSight helps you check a space for possible hidden cameras and Bluetooth trackers using your Android phone. Every flag comes with the evidence behind it, so you can decide what deserves a closer look.

FIVE WAYS TO CHECK A SPACE
• Wi-Fi network scan: looks for cameras and smart devices on the Wi-Fi you're connected to, using streaming ports, ONVIF replies, camera-vendor service records and common camera port patterns. It also flags camera hubs and base stations, your cue to look around physically. Each device shows why it was rated the way it was.
• Bluetooth tracker scan: looks for nearby AirTag, Tile, SmartTag, Chipolo and Pebblebee trackers, plus unknown devices with an unusually strong signal. Results show signal strength, not an exact location.
• Infrared camera check: many night-vision cameras use infrared LEDs you can't see but your phone's camera can. Turn the lights off and sweep slowly. TVs and remotes glow too, so investigate before you assume.
• Lens detector: uses your flashlight and the way camera lenses reflect light back to help you spot them, even when the camera is off. It is most reliable in low light, moving slowly.
• Physical inspection guide: 30 checkpoints across smoke detectors and vents, electronics, decor, the bathroom and light fixtures.

• Periodic re-scan: reminders during your stay to check whether new devices have joined the network.

YOUR SCANS STAY ON YOUR PHONE
• Scan results, device lists, photos and reports are stored on your phone and left out of Google backup.
• No account, no ads, no analytics.
• Apart from Google Play billing, ClearSight talks only to devices on your local network. Your scans are not sent to us.
• Android requires location permission for Bluetooth scanning and reading the Wi-Fi name. ClearSight doesn't store or send your location.
• Optional app lock with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.

WHERE IT WORKS, AND WHERE IT DOESN'T
Most useful in short-term rentals and private homes, where the host's devices share the Wi-Fi you're on. Less useful in hotels, where cameras usually sit on separate networks a guest can't reach. The infrared check, lens detector, Bluetooth scan and inspection guide work anywhere.

ClearSight is a privacy awareness aid, not a certified security instrument. No scanner can detect every device. Cameras on cellular networks, devices on another network and offline recorders are outside what a Wi-Fi scan can reach.
