About this app

Something is wrong on your server - and you are not at your desk.
Server Panic Button puts an emergency switch for your Linux servers in your pocket.

ONE TAP, FOUR ACTIONS
- Check status: is the server normal or locked down, how long is it up, how many containers are running
- LOCKDOWN: stop the public services right away - SSH stays open so you can get back in
- Restore: start again exactly what the lockdown stopped
- Power off: shut the whole server down when it really counts

BUILT FOR SECURITY FIRST
- Keys made in your phone's secure hardware. Each server gets its own key, created inside Android's secure hardware (StrongBox / TEE where available). It can never be copied, exported or backed up.
- Fingerprint, face or PIN for every action. A lost, unlocked phone is not enough.
- The key cannot open a shell. On the server, the phone's key is restricted to the small panic agent only: no shell, no files, no port forwarding. Even someone with your unlocked phone could only use these four actions - never get into your server.
- Server identity pinned. You confirm the server's fingerprint once; if it ever changes, the app refuses to connect.
- Only 4 commands, no secrets. The server agent accepts status, lockdown, restore and power off - nothing else - and logs every action.

OPEN AND TRANSPARENT SETUP
The setup script is built into the app as plain text - read every line before you use it. Nothing is downloaded from the internet. Run it from your Windows PC (PowerShell) or directly on the server, paste the phone's key when it asks, compare the fingerprint, done. A step-by-step guide walks you through it. Just looking? Try the built-in demo server first - no real server needed.

WORKS WITH
- Any Linux server you can reach with SSH (VPS, cloud or on-premise)
- Docker hosts: stop all public containers and keep your databases running
- Plain systemd services (nginx, apache and others)
- Your own lockdown and restore scripts, if you already have them

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no cloud, no tracking of your servers. Server names and addresses stay on your phone; commands go straight from your phone to your server over encrypted SSH.

The app is free with a small banner ad on the server list. A one-time purchase removes the ads forever.
