Skywave lets you control your Windows and Mac computers using your Android phone or tablet.

■ Three Connection Methods, Choose One for Your Environment

**Same Wi-Fi:** The computer list appears as soon as it's turned on; simply tap to connect. The entire process doesn't involve any server, and the screen remains on your network.

**Nine-Digit ID:** Each end connects to an external line, so there's no need to open inbound ports on your firewall. Symmetrical NAT, CGNAT, and corporate networks cannot block it.

**Direct Connection If You Know the IP:** The easiest approach in VPN or intranet environments.

■ Cross-Network Connection Service is Your Own

Cross-network connections are forwarded through a cross-network connection service. We use our default cross-network connection service; it's ready to use after installation, no configuration required. The cross-network connection service only transfers bytes; it doesn't parse or store images, input, or files; the password is verified by the controlled device; the remote connection password is not entered into the account system.

If you're concerned about data sovereignty, the cross-network connection service is a separate executable that can be hosted on your own or your organization's machines, and the traffic won't pass through us at all.

■ Operation

Single-finger drag to move the cursor, tap the left button, long press the right button, two-finger drag to scroll, two-finger pinch to zoom. The tablet's landscape orientation provides the full working screen.

■ Requirements

Skywave Desktop (Windows 10 1903 or later, or macOS 13 or later) must be installed on the computer you want to control. It can be downloaded from skywavedesk.com.

■ Allowing Control of This Android Device

After pressing "Start Allowing Control," Android will first display a confirmation message for screen sharing. If the other party wants to tap and swipe, the user must manually enable Skywave Accessibility Service. System passwords, payment screens, and prohibited apps may display a black screen or refuse input; this is due to Android's security restrictions.
