The Slab Dens were carved so every monster in the warren had a tile of their own. Then the little ones started a game of tag, and now nothing is where it should be.
SlabShiftPuzzle is a sliding tile puzzle with one hundred hand-tuned dens to put back in order. Tap any slab beside the empty gap and it shifts across. That is the whole control scheme — no dragging, no swiping, no timers breathing down your neck.
FIVE CHAPTERS, ONE HUNDRED DENS
Start in Hatchling Hollow on gentle three-by-three boards, then work through Slime Terrace, Fang Gallery and Glow Grotto until you reach the five-by-five puzzles of the Monarch's Den. Every board is built by shuffling a solved one with legal moves, so a solution always exists — no matter how hopeless it looks.
STARS FOR TIDY SOLVING
Each den has a par. Come in under it for three stars, a fair way over for two, and any clear at all still earns one. The clock on the HUD is there for your own records — it never costs you a star, so you can take as long as you like to think.
THREE CHARGES WHEN A DEN FIGHTS BACK
Nudge marks the slab worth moving next. Rewind takes back your last move and the move it cost you. Peek lays a ghost of the finished board over the top for a few seconds. Spend Tokens on them one at a time, or buy permanent upgrades in the Bazaar and start every den with free charges in hand.
ONE HONEST CURRENCY
Tokens come from clearing dens and from the daily offering, and they are spent on charges, upgrades and slab skins. That is the entire economy. There is no second premium currency, no energy meter, no timer asking you to come back later, and absolutely nothing to buy with real money.
A WARREN WORTH FILLING IN
Collect stars to open the Den Gallery and meet the residents — Grumble, Pip, Triplet and the Monarch, each with their own card. Ten accolades track everything from your first slide to your one hundred and fiftieth star, and each one pays out when it lands.
BUILT TO BE PLAYED ANYWHERE
No account. No sign-up. No ads. No network connection required for any part of the game — on a plane, in a basement, or with the data switched off, every den works exactly the same.
MADE READABLE
Turn slab numbers on or off, outline the slabs you can legally move, add a distinct shape pip to every slab face for colourblind play, and calm the ambient motion with reduced flash. Four switches, all in Controls.
Slide the dens back into order. The monsters are waiting.
