Calculate how much energy your photovoltaic system will produce, when the investment will pay off, and how the energy storage affects the system's operation. Check the impact of the energy storage on the self-consumption of energy from the panels. The PV calculator allows you to estimate the annual energy production from a photovoltaic system for a given location, using local solar conditions. It calculates the approximate profit and simple payback period, assuming net-billing based on actual hourly energy prices from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. The calculation algorithm simulates the operation of the system with the energy storage throughout the year with a 1-hour time step. The energy storage simulation does not take into account additional optimization for energy prices – energy from the storage is used as needed.
