Coming to Ireland? If so, you'll want to understand how the locals speak! We use a LOT of slang words and phrases that you won't hear in other countries.

I was born and raised Dublin, Ireland, and and every day I see how foreign people struggle with understanding our lingo.

I have included over 500 of the most common slang phrases that are used every day in this country, and put them into useful categories like 'Greetings', 'Rude', 'Drinking', etc.

Ratings and reviews

I made a harsh review at first due to some AI images. I have encountered apps that claim to teach Irish but were AI text generated and they were cat. I was worried this app was like that but have been reassured that is not the case. I used my bad past experiences and put it on this app, which was mean of me. It's fun to have an index of Irish slang as I only know mostly Munster slang. It has a nice, easy to read UI with organised categories. The search function is quick as well.

Great app, brilliant idea to add so many videos too. Very clever.

Excellent value! I speak just a little natively, and watch a lot of Irish TV yet the slang always gets me when I visit. This is great! 👍🏼
