About this app

Tally is a study timer that films you while you work. Prop your phone up, start a focus session, and every session turns into a short timelapse you can keep or share. Study with friends, keep your streak, and watch your hours add up.

STUDY TIMER, FOCUS TIMER OR POMODORO
• Stopwatch, countdown focus timer or Pomodoro timer, with a daily study goal
• Do Not Disturb turns on while you record, and Lock mode keeps you off your phone
• The screen dims itself to save battery while the camera keeps rolling
• Pauses and breaks are cut out, so the timelapse only shows real focus time

STUDY WITH FRIENDS
• Add friends by username or invite link
• See who's studying right now and what they're working on
• A feed of your friends' study sessions, with kudos and comments
• Nudge a friend who hasn't started yet today

STUDY TOGETHER IN GROUPS
• Make a study group for your class, team or study server

NOT ONLY FOR STUDYING
Tally works as a focus timer for anything that needs you to stay focused: coding, writing, reading, practicing an instrument, a deep work block at your desk. Tag the session and the timer, the stats and the focus timelapse work the same way.

Raw camera frames never leave your phone. If you sign in, a private copy of each timelapse is backed up that only you can see. Accounts are optional; everything except friends and groups works without one.

Tally Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the small Tally mark from your clips. Nothing above needs it.
