Everyday Meter is a local daily check-in journal for sleep, water, mood, and activity. It helps you keep small personal records together and notice patterns across days, weeks, and months. The app is built around simple entries rather than automated tracking: you decide what to record, review it in a calendar, and use local reminders when you want a prompt to check in.
The Dashboard provides a view of the current date through four connected areas: Sleep, Water, Mood, and Activity. A daily rhythm indicator shows which areas have been logged, while individual sections display the latest sleep duration and quality, water amount and goal progress, mood selection, and manually entered active minutes and steps. A short local summary adapts to the information already saved for the day.
The Add Entry screen lets you save a complete check-in or only the parts you want to track. For sleep, enter bedtime, wake-up time, and a quality choice of Poor, Fair, Good, or Great. Everyday Meter calculates the duration correctly when sleep crosses midnight. For water, enter a total in milliliters or use quick additions. You can select a personal daily water target from Settings.
Mood tracking uses a small set of clear options: Great, Good, Calm, Low, or Tired. Add an optional short note of up to 140 characters to preserve context in your own words. Activity tracking is manual and includes active minutes and steps. The app does not request fitness, motion, health, location, or wearable permissions for this feature. Set step and active-minute goals that fit your own routine.
The Calendar screen turns local check-ins into a monthly overview. Days with entries can show markers for sleep, water-goal completion, mood, and activity. Select a day to open a read-only summary of its saved values, including the mood note when one exists. Month controls and a clear legend help you read the pattern without turning the journal into a complex planner.
Insights provides local summaries for seven days, thirty days, or all saved entries. It can show average sleep duration, water-goal completion rate, most common mood, average active minutes, and compact charts for sleep, water, and activity. An insight is generated only from your saved data, such as a longest sleep day or number of water goal days. When there is not enough data, the app explains how more entries can create a useful trend.
Everyday Meter includes optional local reminders for water, a daily check-in, and bedtime. Choose whether each reminder is enabled, select a time, and choose every day, weekdays, or weekends. The app asks for notification permission only when needed by the device. Reminder scheduling can depend on Android system behavior, battery settings, notification permission, and device availability. Reminders are local and do not require an online account.
All entries, notes, goals, reminder settings, theme preference, and haptic preference are stored locally on the device. Everyday Meter works offline and does not require registration, cloud sync, or a remote wellness service. You can select light theme, dark theme, or system theme, adjust personal water and activity goals, and clear all local data from Settings.
The app is intended for general personal awareness only. It does not diagnose sleep, hydration, mood, activity, or health conditions, and it does not replace professional medical advice. Use Everyday Meter to record your own daily rhythm, review simple patterns, and keep your routine visible in one private local journal.
