The shop I deliver for recently implemented Slice for all our orders. It's amazing how nonfunctional the system is. The delivery app has marginal functionality for drivers beyond the navigation, which is inferior to Google maps. There is minor value in having the driver confirm a checklist of items ordered, but if I'm handed a bag of kitchen items it is not reasonable for me to open things up to double check every item. I can't express my contempt for this app in 500 characters. 0 stars.

Edit: why does this app ask me if I want to grant audio recording permissions when I plug in USB headphones to my device? Why tf would this app ever need to record anything? Please make the address number visible on the navigation screen as we arrive to the drop off location. As of now, you have to exit the nav screen to see the number. Please add a night/dark mode. Those of us with astigmatism have trouble using it in the dark.

This app is atrociously dysfunctional on every conceivable level. It's constantly glitching, is frequently unable to process payments, does not allow drivers to see tip information, does not update orders if they're modified after being assigned to drivers, has no failsafe if god forbid you make a single wrong click on "paid in cash," breaks after every update, and is just generally a pain to use. The built-in navigation system is mediocre and is probably the best thing about the app.
