About this app

Thermlapse is a dedicated radiometric thermal time-lapse app for FLIR ONE cameras. Capture how temperature changes over time — not just a single moment.

Purpose-built for building inspectors, energy auditors, HVAC professionals, and thermal researchers who need more than a single thermal snapshot.

KEY FEATURES

• Radiometric Capture — Every frame preserves full temperature data in standard radiometric JPEG format. Re-analyze with any palette, fusion mode, or measurement tool years after capture.

• Flexible Time-Lapse — Set capture intervals in seconds, minutes, or hours. Configure an optional auto-stop duration for unattended sessions. From sub-second equipment warm-up to 24-hour building thermal profiles.

• 5 Display Modes & 12 Palettes — IR Only, MSX, Blending, Thermal Fusion, and Visual. Iron, Rainbow, Arctic, Lava, and 8 more palettes. A real-time thermal histogram shows temperature distribution at a glance.

• Video Export — Convert any image sequence to shareable H.264 MP4 at your chosen frame rate. A 240-image overnight session becomes a 10-second video ready for client reports.

• Temperature Measurement — Drag a crosshair cursor anywhere on the live thermal image. Scene-wide min/max temperatures update continuously. Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin supported, with professional emissivity presets.

• Auto-Reconnect & Auto-Dim — Unattended capture sessions keep running through brief disconnects, and the screen dims automatically to preserve battery.

• Privacy First — No account. No analytics. No cloud. No tracking. All images and settings stay entirely on your device. Works completely offline.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Connect — Attach your FLIR ONE camera. Wired cameras auto-connect; wireless cameras pair via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
2. Configure — Choose your display mode, palette, and capture interval. Set an optional auto-stop duration and album name.
3. Capture — Press Start. The app captures radiometric images at your interval, auto-dims to save battery, and reconnects if needed.
4. Export — Review your album, then export to MP4 video. Share with clients, include in reports, or analyze frames individually.

SUPPORTED CAMERAS

• FLIR ONE Classic (USB-C)
• FLIR ONE Edge (Bluetooth + Wi-Fi)
