About this app

Surya means the Sun. Synonyms of Surya in ancient Indian literature include Aditya, Arka, Bhanu, Savitr, Pushan, Ravi, Martanda, Mitra and Vivasvan. Surya is one of the nine heavenly houses (Navagraha) in the zodiac system of Hindu astrology. Ravi is the basis of Ravivara, or Sunday, in the Hindu calendar. The most famous Surya temple is the Konark temple, a World Heritage Site in Orissa. Constructed in the 13th century by the Eastern Ganga dynasty, on a pre-existing pilgrimage site for Surya god, the temple architecture mimics a grand chariot with twelve wheels pulled by seven horses.

Are you an ambitious student with big plans for your future - if Yes. I would suggest the Surya Mantra for you. All our human efforts are realised thanks to the grace of God. Lord Surya is “Karma Sakshi”, who has eternal wisdom.

The Surya Mantra is chanted in praise of the Sun God. He is the “pratyakshadaivam” - the only God visible to us every day. He is the Source of all life, and it is because of him that life exists. Thanks to the energy from his rays, life on Earth is sustained.
