About this app

‘eX-Mars’ is the world’s first intelligent robot cube that includes an automatic scrambling function, an automatic timing function, a solution memorization function, and a step-by-step solution guidance function for beginners to learn how to solve a 3x3x3 cube. This app is designed for external control of 'eX-Mars' using BLE on devices such as smartphones, storage of cube records, communication with servers, and DFU.

I absolutely love this thing. One of the best gifts I've received in ages. That said, there are some problems with the app. The "replay recent solve at 5x" function does not work. It fails to load move history. Not only that, but selecting this option will make the cube entirely unresponsive to the app or turns until both the cube and the app are restarted. Also, shake and self-solve is only partly functional. Shaking (assuming in many to physically shake the cube) does nothing.

Won't connect to cube. Pressing scan shows empty device list. Phone Bluetooth is turned on. If I look under phone Bluetooth settings, I see the ex-Mars device but it says app required to connect. App will not recognize it.

Good. It helps you enable something like Jinglebells when you forget the code
