About this app

Smart Hisaab helps retail and wholesale merchants run day-to-day billing, stock, purchases, and accounts from one Android app. Sign in as store owner or sales person, manage one or more stores, and keep sales, inventory, and reports in sync with your business account on our servers when you are online.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Account & stores
• Register, sign in, and verify your account
• Forgot-password recovery
• Create and switch between multiple stores
• Update store profile, change password, and create staff users (owner)

Dashboard
• View sales, purchase, and expense summaries
• Charts and quick shortcuts
• Cash counter summary (where enabled for your store)

Sales & billing
• Create, edit, and view sale bills
• Add items by barcode scan or manual entry
• GST and tax lines as per your store setup
• Split payments (cash, online, and other modes you configure)
• Generate PDF bills, print (including thermal printer where supported), and share (including WhatsApp when you choose to share)

Inventory (master data)
• Categories, sizes, and colours
• Items with images, barcode, and label printing
• Sales person master (owner)
• Category-wise stock view

Purchase & suppliers
• Supplier (party) records
• Purchase bills, payments, and purchase returns

Expenses & returns
• Record business expenses (including photo attachment where you use it)
• Customer / store return flow

Reports
• Sale, purchase, profit, unpaid, cash counter, and category-wise sale reports

WHO IT IS FOR
Shop owners, kirana and retail stores, garment and footwear shops, hardware, cosmetics, stationery, and other small and medium businesses that need billing, stock, and simple accounts on mobile.

OWNER VS SALES PERSON
The same app supports two roles. Owners manage masters, purchases, plans, and full reports. Sales persons can work on allowed sales and store tasks; some menus are limited by design for staff accounts.

DATA & PERMISSIONS (summary)
To work as described, the app may use:
• Internet — sign-in, sync
• Camera — barcode scanning on sales and items
• Photos / storage — item images, expense proofs, PDF bills, and printing
• Contacts — only if you use features that save or match a customer number on your device (for example when sharing a bill on WhatsApp); you can deny contact permission and still use most of the app
• Notifications / device identifiers — only as needed for app version, security, and services we use (see Privacy Policy)
