Device says it works with Alexa, but no documentation as to how to do so. After figuring out how to do that, Alexa still does not recognize it. It works fine with the Westinghouse app... Until you close the app. When I reopen the app, it wants to start the discovery process rather than just displaying the on/off button. Had to register with my email address before I could even see if this thing wirked. This 'smart' plug was a free gift... and worth everything I paid for it.

The app is pretty much useless as the plug itself is poorly designed/engineered, and keeps disconnecting from the network, no matter how close to the router it is set. I reached out to Westinghouse who simply responded that it is likely due to other wifi devices interfering -well, in my house, the only wifi devices are 2 laptops and a FireTv stick (shall I get rid of those to make the plug work?). You have no control through the app when the plug turns on and off erratically. Pathetic.

The app itself is glitchy and won't even let me file bug reports and will just reset the fields to blank when I hit send. Every device I've used with this app was either a complete lemon that is no more than a paperweight or has serious bugs and there's nothing the app or developers seem to want to do about it. You'd be better off getting software and the devices from wish for $1. Trash.
