SmartDocs Kiosk turns your tablet into a digital signature station for in-person appointments. Open a prepared signing process and securely hand the device to the signer. No printing, scanning, or paperwork required.
The signer can read the document, complete the required fields, and sign directly on the tablet using a finger or stylus. Signers do not need their own SmartDocs account. When multiple people are involved, the app guides them through the defined signing order.
Before handing over the device, an authorized employee confirms that the signer’s identity has been verified in person. SmartDocs records this verification as a separate event in the audit trail. This keeps the signing process and identity verification traceable and documented.

SmartDocs Kiosk is ideal for car dealerships, medical practices, real estate companies, HR teams, retail locations, tradespeople, and consultants. It is designed for any situation where documents need to be signed during an in-person appointment.

The SmartDocs platform is hosted in Germany and supports GDPR and eIDAS-compliant signing processes. A SmartDocs business account with access to Kiosk Mode is required. Signing processes must be prepared in SmartDocs beforehand.
