Take control of distracting apps without relying on willpower alone.
ScrollKey is a puzzle-powered app blocker that creates a deliberate pause before social media, games, and other apps you choose. Solve a quick Codebreaker puzzle to earn access time, save those minutes in your Time Bank, and decide when they are worth spending.
HOW SCROLLKEY WORKS
• Choose the apps you want to protect.
• Solve a five-digit logic puzzle to earn time.
• Save earned minutes in your Time Bank.
• Start a timed unlock when you choose.
• Protection resumes automatically when your time ends.
BUILT FOR INTENTIONAL SCREEN TIME
• App protection: Pause access to selected distracting apps.
• Puzzle-powered rewards: Earn app time by solving Codebreaker puzzles.
• Time Bank: Save reward minutes and use them when you choose.
• Daily app budget: Limit how much timed access you can use each day.
• Emergency Unlock: Get five minutes of access once per day when you genuinely need it.
• Progress at a glance: See your daily pauses, puzzles solved, earned time, Time Bank balance, and remaining daily access.
• ScrollKey Pro: Protect unlimited selected apps, set daily protection hours for individual apps, and unlock more options for rewards, daily budgets, and Time Bank capacity.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
ScrollKey does not require a ScrollKey account and does not serve ads. Your protected-app selection, puzzle progress, Time Bank balance, limits, and preferences are stored locally on your device. ScrollKey does not sell your personal information or use your app activity for advertising or cross-app profiling.
ANDROID ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
On Android, ScrollKey uses the AccessibilityService API as a core part of app protection. When enabled, it detects the technical identifier of the app currently open, compares that identifier on your device with the apps you selected, and displays the ScrollKey protection screen when protection should apply.
The service is configured so that it cannot retrieve window content. ScrollKey does not use it to read or collect messages, passwords, typed text, photos, webpage content, or other content displayed inside apps.
When ScrollKey displays the protection screen, it stores that protected app’s technical identifier and an aggregate daily pause count in private app storage. It does not record when each pause occurred or keep a general history of every app you open. ScrollKey does not send Accessibility Service data to its servers or third-party services. Android may include private app data in device backups, depending on your backup settings.
You can disable this access at any time in Android Settings. App protection will then stop working.
ScrollKey is not about never using your favorite apps. It is about adding one thoughtful moment before you do.
