The application is designed to prevent the device from being left in silent mode unintentionally or from failing to be set to silent mode in environments where it is required.
Automation can be pre-configured on a day and time basis, and location-based functionality is also supported—whereby the device is automatically set to silent mode upon arrival at a designated location and restored to its previous sound profile upon departure.
Additionally, for one-time requirements, the device can be set to remain in silent mode for a specified duration (e.g., x minutes), after which it is automatically returned to its prior state.
